Clearing and locking corrections

You use the Clear and Lock buttons in the Setting group to clear the list of color corrections, or to add to the list:

• The Clear button deletes the entire list of corrections.

• The Lock button adds the current settings in the panel to the list of corrections

These buttons also reset all the controls in the Color Corrector window, so they're no longer applying a correction. You're then ready to start creating a new correction to add to the list.

Changing modes

It follows that to remember the corrections you have made in one mode, you must click on the Lock button before changing to another mode. If you change the mode without clicking on the Lock button, the corrections you have made in that mode will not be added to the list, and so will be discarded.
